Welcome to Florence to all CDC2013 participants! Dear Guest, in order to facilitate your stay in the Capital of Italian Culture, CDC2013 Organizing Secretariat will be pleased to help you with your accommodation in the cradle of Italian history. Florence offers a wide range of accommodation possibilities, from cheap rooms and B&B to luxury hotels. The Organizing Secretariat has reserved a block of rooms in recommended 4 and 3 star hotels most conveniently located to reach the Conference venue and agreed special rates for attendees. Florence is an open air museum and as such it is visited by many tourists throughout the year. Please remember also that Sunday 8 December is a religious holiday in Italy and Christmas holidays will be approaching. Therefore we strongly advise to book well in advance. This little dynamic, energetic, contemporary "City Riad", with its fascinating inner court, is located in a noble building at number 23 of Piazza Santa Maria Novella. The Rosso 23, fully decorated in red and grey tones, is a high quality 3-star hotel, providing 42 rooms and very smart common areas with curious details.
