CDC attendees can benefit of a special Card downloadable for free and valid for the whole period of the conference, as well as a few days prior to and after. It provides special offers and discounted fees at museums, historical sites, shops, restaurants, wellness centers, golf clubs, bike rental stands, and car rental agencies. Other services at special rates include sightseeing tours, taxis, and airport transfer with private driver. The Congress Card is not nominal and can be used by attendees and accompanying persons. Firenze Fiera Congress and Exhibition Center Piazza Adua, 1 Florence CDC2013 will be held in an exclusive conference area, right in the middle of one of the most beautiful city in the world: Firenze Fiera Congress & Exhibition Center. The center is located in the heart of Florence, between the city historic centre and the boulevards built over the lay-out of the ancient city walls. CDC 2013 sessions will be hosted in Villa Vittoria, an architectural jewel of the 18th century and the adjacent Palazzo Affari planned by architect Pierluigi Spadolini and opened in 1974. The conference rooms are surrounded by a centuries old garden providing a relaxing environment for participants.
The Congress and Exhibition Center is located in front of Florence Santa Maria Novella railway station about 1 km from the Duomo, and is also easily accessible by public transportation, by bus or by the modern and newly opened tramway. Florence AMERIGO VESPUCCI AIRPORT is an international airport located just 4 kilometers from the city centre. If you fly to either Rome FIUMICINO AIRPORT or Milan MALPENSA or LINATE AIRPORTS, you may also reach Florence by train and arrive at Florence Santa Maria Novella Railway Station located just in front of CDC2013 Conference Venue.
